Almandine - Garnet Group.
Location: Buviknakken, Sørfold, Nordland, Norway.
Isometric crystal (cubic system), in the form of rhombic dodecahedron with 3.2 x 2.6 x 2.5cm, partially distorted but with sharp faces and edges. Metamorphic origin from granatiferous mica schist.
