Location: Panasqueira Mine, Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Portugal.
Cluster of brown lamellar crystals of Siderite (up to 3cm) associated with some short greenish gray transparent hexagonal prisms of Fluorapatite (larger with 1.2cm). Sample with 6.7 x 5.2 x 3.5cm and 91 grams. Formed in mineralized veins of quartz, sulfides, wolframite, cassiterite, micas, fluorite, carbonates, among others, associated with the generation of a greisen dome by granitic intrusion in Paleozoic schists and graywackes.
