With volcanic origin, in fumaroles but mainly in sedimentary deposits, due to the reduction of sulfates (ex: gypsum). It is also produced from Pyrite, although most of the world production comes from hydrocarbon exploration. It has many applications in the chemical industry, agriculture, explosives, paints, paper, rubber, etc.
